Reception logo wall

A reception sign is read from a few steps away, so it can be smaller than an outdoor sign and still look big. Halo-lit letters are the most chosen: a solid metal face and a soft glow on the wall. We redraw your logo to scale on a photo of your wall and show it lit before anything is built.

From idea to switch-on

  1. Measure the wall and note where the desk, doors, outlets and ceiling lights are.
  2. Tape up a sheet of paper the size you have in mind and look at it from the entrance.
  3. Send your logo as a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) with the wall size and a photo.
  4. Check the drawing: size, finish, light color and where the power comes in.
  5. Mount with the full-size template, pass the lead through the wall and plug in the adapter.

Tip: Plan the outlet before the wall is finished. An outlet behind the sign or above the ceiling keeps the adapter and wires out of sight, and an electrician can add one while the space is being built out.

Questions

How big should a reception logo be?

Big enough to read from the front door, with clear space around it. Tape a paper mockup of the size you have in mind to the wall and look at it from the entrance; the drawing then shows the exact size to scale on your wall.

Do I need an electrician for a reception sign?

Usually not. Indoor signs plug in through a 100–240 V adapter. You only need an electrician if you want a new outlet behind the sign or a hard-wired power supply.

What wall works best for halo-lit letters?

A smooth, light wall shows the glow best, because the halo takes on the wall color and texture. Brick, concrete and wood work too, but the halo looks softer on darker or rougher surfaces.

What file should I send for my logo?

A vector file is best: AI, EPS, SVG or a PDF saved from design software. If you only have a picture, send the largest one you have; we redraw it, and the drawing shows any detail we had to simplify for your approval.
