A lit logo sign turns your logo mark, the symbol rather than the name, into a three-dimensional sign. We build the shape the same way as a channel letter: 304 stainless steel returns bent to the outline of your logo, with the face and lighting you choose. It works on its own, as an icon behind a reception desk or on a storefront, or beside a set of channel letters spelling your name. You may know it as a 3D logo sign, an illuminated logo or a logo wall sign.

Three ways to build it:

  • Halo-lit: a solid stainless face and a translucent back, so the logo glows onto the wall around it. Quiet and refined; the usual choice for reception walls, clinics and offices.
  • Front-lit: a translucent acrylic face that glows, in white or your brand color. The most readable at night and from a distance.
  • Not lit: a solid stainless shape in a brushed, painted or gold finish, for walls where the logo only needs to be seen by day.

Logos are more complex than letters. Thin lines, small gaps and tiny details that look fine on a business card may be too small to bend in steel or to light evenly at sign size. We simplify details only where they cannot be built, and the drawing shows any change for your approval before anything is made. Your logo stays recognizably yours.

The sign is priced by its size: the width and height of the box around the logo. The price estimator on this page uses our recent logo sign quotes; it covers logos up to 240 in wide and 96 in tall. Not-lit logos cost less than lit ones.

Light colors are white 6500 K, neutral white 4000 K or warm white 3000 K, and a dimmer with remote is available. Indoor signs plug in through a 100-240 V adapter. Outdoor signs use IP65 LED modules and a hard-wired outdoor power supply that a licensed electrician connects. The power supply and LED modules are UL / cUL listed components.

The logo mounts flush to the wall with a full-size paper template and the mounting hardware; standoffs only if you ask. Installation and permits are not included. Send your logo file and the wall size, and we email a free drawing with a lit preview and the exact price before you pay.

How to choose

Decide what the logo has to do. Behind a reception desk or in a treatment room it mainly sets the tone, and halo-lit or not lit fits best. On a storefront or anywhere it must be recognized from a distance at night, front-lit carries further.

Size it by the wall and by the smallest detail. Measure the wall space, then check the thinnest line in your logo at that size: if it is very thin, a slightly larger sign or a simplified detail may be needed, and the drawing will show you which.

If the logo sits with your name, plan them together so the letter height and the logo height balance. Send a vector file (AI, EPS, SVG or PDF) or the largest image you have, the wall size and a photo of the wall.

Questions

What file should I send?

A vector file such as AI, EPS, SVG or PDF gives the cleanest result. If you only have an image, send the largest version you have, along with the size you want on the wall.

Will my logo be changed?

Only where a detail is too small to build in steel or to light evenly. Any change is shown on the drawing for your approval before anything is made.

How is a logo sign priced?

By the width and height of the box around the logo, using our recent logo sign quotes. The estimator gives a range; the drawing gives the exact price.

Halo-lit, front-lit or not lit?

Halo-lit glows on the wall around a solid face and suits interiors. Front-lit lights the face itself and reads furthest at night. Not lit is a solid stainless shape for daytime and costs the least.

Can a lit logo go outdoors?

Yes. Outdoor builds use IP65 LED modules and a hard-wired outdoor power supply that a licensed electrician connects. Installation and permits are not included.

What finishes and colors can the logo have?

A halo-lit logo has a solid stainless face that can be brushed, painted any color, gold or printed with your artwork. A front-lit logo has an acrylic face in white or your brand color. The drawing shows the colors for your approval.

How deep is a lit logo sign?

The depth is set on your drawing. Halo-lit logos are usually 2 to 3 in deep, and front-lit shapes commonly use 3 in or 5 in returns.

What is needed behind the wall?

The logo mounts flush, so its wires pass through a small hole behind the sign to the power supply. Indoors, plan an outlet nearby for the plug-in adapter; outdoors, a licensed electrician brings power to the spot.
