Storefront sign
Your storefront sign is read from a moving car and from across the parking lot, day and night. Front-lit channel letters are the clearest choice for most shops; halo-lit letters suit a quieter, upscale front. We draw your sign on a photo of your building, lit and unlit, with an exact price before anything is built.

From idea to switch-on
- Check your lease and the city sign code: allowed size, lighting and mounting.
- Measure the fascia (sign band) and take a straight-on photo with a tape measure in it.
- Send your logo file, the measurements and the photo for a free drawing and exact price.
- Approve the drawing; use it for the permit application.
- Your installer mounts the letters with the full-size template; an electrician connects power.
Tip: Ask your landlord for the tenant sign criteria before you choose a style. It often fixes the letter height, colors and whether a raceway is required.

Questions
How big should my storefront letters be?
Plan about 1 in of letter height for every 10 ft of viewing distance, then check the fascia height and what your city allows. Most shopping street signs end up between 12 and 24 in.
Raceway or flush mount for a storefront?
A raceway needs only a few holes and one power feed, which suits leased buildings. Flush mounting looks cleaner but needs a hole behind each letter for its wires.
Do I need a permit for a storefront sign?
Almost always. Your approved drawing shows the sizes, materials and mounting that most permit applications ask for; you or your installer file it with the city.
