Rechargeable Battery Pack and Remote for Lit Signs, 12V
Rechargeable 12 V battery box with a remote for halo letters and small lit signs where there is no outlet; USB-C charging, slim enough to hide.
Some walls have no outlet nearby, and some spaces do not allow wiring at all: a rented office, a pop-up shop, an event backdrop, a photo wall or a shelf display. This battery pack runs a small 12 V lit sign without a cord to the wall and without an electrician.
It is a slim rechargeable 12 V battery box with a remote control. The box is thin enough to hide behind a backer panel, or it can sit out of sight at the end of a thin lead from the sign. Turn the sign on and off with the remote, and recharge the box over USB-C, the same kind of connector most phones use now.
It is made for halo-lit letters and other small 12 V signs. It is also the battery option on our battery-powered halo letters, where it comes fitted to the sign.
How long does it run? That depends on three things: how many watts the LEDs draw, how bright they are set, and how many hours a day the sign is on. A sign that draws twice the watts runs about half as long on one charge, and fewer hours per day means fewer recharges. Because every sign is different, we do not publish one run-time number. Tell us the sign's size and watts, or send a photo of the label on its current adapter, and we confirm the run time and the connector for your sign before you order.
A battery suits small signs that are on for a few hours at a time. A large sign, or one that should stay lit all evening every day, is better served by a plug-in adapter or a hard-wired power supply.
How to choose
This pack is a good fit when the sign is small, runs on 12 V, and is on for a few hours at a time: an event, a reception desk during office hours, a shelf display or a photo wall.
Before you order, tell us about the sign: its size, the watts or amps on the label of its current adapter, and how many hours a day you want it on. We reply with the expected run time per charge and confirm that the connector fits.
If you are ordering new halo letters and already know there is no outlet, order the battery-powered halo letters instead: the pack comes fitted to the sign, and the drawing shows where the box hides.
Questions
How long will my sign run on one charge?
It depends on the LED watts, the brightness and the hours on. Send us the sign's size and the label of its adapter and we confirm the run time for your sign; a sign that draws twice the watts runs about half as long.
How do I charge it?
Over USB-C, the connector most current phones use. Charge it from a USB wall charger, for example overnight or between events.
Will it work with my sign?
It is made for small 12 V signs such as halo letters. Tell us the watts or send a photo of the old adapter label, and we confirm the fit and the connector before you order.
Where does the battery box go?
It is slim enough to hide behind a backer panel, or it can sit out of sight on a thin lead from the sign, for example on a shelf or behind furniture.
Do I need an electrician?
No. There is no outlet and no hard-wiring involved; the sign runs from the battery and turns on and off with the remote.
